About me
During my career, I have had the opportunity to work in various spheres and industries, spending twelve years in international oil & gas and investment banking companies before becoming a co-founder of an engineering-technology business in 2013.
Throughout my career, I have worked in various roles and locations, including London, Geneva, Tbilisi, Kiev, Bucharest, Moscow, Istanbul, and New York. This experience allowed me to look at the business environment from a unique perspective and taught me to appreciate cultural and social nuances alongside professional skills.
In my current group of companies, we specialize in industrial engineering, design, manufacturing and supply of technological equipment, industrial automation, and information technology. Our business is international in nature and has joint ventures and strategic partnerships with global companies such as FLSmidth, Technip Energies, and Idemia.
At the moment, the group of companies successfully operates in several countries around the world, including Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Italy, France, and the USA, expanding its presence both through established branches and subsidiaries, as well as through strategic joint ventures.

I possess extensive knowledge and rich experience in areas such as construction technology (ConTech), real estate technology (PropTech), transportation technology (TransportTech), and technology of mining and processing ores of non-ferrous and precious metals. Being a co-founder of several engineering and manufacturing enterprises, I am well-versed in current construction methods, design, supply, and manufacturing of high-tech equipment. My expertise goes beyond the listed industries, encompassing a wide range of sectors, including those at the forefront of technological progress. In the enterprises where I serve as a co-founder and investor, over 1000 employees are employed in total, making a significant contribution to industrial innovations and economic development.
Outside of work, I am a happy husband and father of five children😊. I have received several higher educations, including recent degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of California Berkeley, and Stanford University.
I am also involved in venture investments, primarily in projects related to the exploration and extraction of mineral resources, as well as various IT projects. I have strong ties with the business communities of Kazakhstan, Central Asia, Turkey, the European Union, and the United States.

KPSP (LLP “Институт Карагандинский Промстройпроект”) is one of the leading engineering companies in Kazakhstan. The design institute has unique experience in designing and participating in the construction of large industrial and infrastructure facilities in the Caspian region since 1959.
Since its inception, the KPSP Design Institute is based in Karaganda, while its central office is located in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana. The company also has branches in Atyrau and Almaty.
KPSP is the most diversified engineering company in Kazakhstan and operates in almost all sectors of the economy: from oil & gas to mining and metallurgy, from infrastructure to space.

TKJV is a joint venture of KPSP (Institute of Karaganda Promstroyproject LLP) with the French company Technip Energies, established in 2019 to operate in the Kazakhstan market, offers services for the implementation of investment projects from preliminary/conceptual design, pre-FEED (preliminary technical-economic justification), FEED (technical-economic justification), and detailed design to EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) services.
TKJV LLP combines the engineering and technological capabilities of Technip Energies with KPSP's extensive experience in the development of infrastructure projects in Kazakhstan.
This company is prominently engaged in providing a wide array of solutions tailored specifically for industrial automation within the sectors of mining, metallurgical, and oil & gas. It operates through a strategic collaboration, functioning as a joint venture alongside LLP KAZPROM AVTOMATIKA, a partnership that significantly enhances its capabilities and service offerings in the domain of industrial automation.
LLP KAZPROM AVTOMATIKA specializes in the full cycle of works related to the design, creation, and maintenance of automated control and monitoring systems for technological processes, covering aspects of industrial IT systems and the supply of automation components.
With a base in Geneva and active operations in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, SwiCE offers a wide range of services in the field of industrial design, project management consulting, and equipment supply. The company is also involved in financing and developing high-tech projects in new markets, striving to provide innovative solutions that will help clients achieve their business goals. Additionally, SwiCE operates across various key sectors including Oil & Gas, Fertilizers, Mining & Metals, Energy, and Infrastructure, showcasing its versatility and commitment to addressing the unique challenges of these diverse industries.
In its pursuit of excellence, SwiCE collaborates with leading industry giants such as FLSmidth, Technip Energies, Maire Tecnimont, and Sicpa, among other notable companies.
Angel / Venture investments
In 2017, I embarked on my journey into the realm of investment activity, starting with an angel investment in the innovative company UZPA. Since that initial foray, I have continued to be an active investor in this company, closely involved in its growth and development.
UZPA, an enterprise dedicated to the development and production of high-tech equipment, has proven to be an exemplary choice for my investment portfolio. The company's focus spans a broad spectrum of sectors, providing critical solutions not only to the oil & gas and energy sectors but also extending its expertise to civil and municipal enterprises. This strategic positioning has enabled UZPA to cater to a diverse client base, addressing a wide range of needs with its cutting-edge technologies and solutions.
In 2015, I, along with my partners, invested in the company SecureTech, which encompasses two major projects through its subsidiaries: Qazaqstan Identity & Security and TransInfoTech.
The API-PNR project, implemented by Qazaqstan Identity & Security, focuses on creating an information system for collecting data on air passenger transport, with the goal of improving the safety and efficiency of air transport services. Simultaneously, TransInfoTech is working on the e-freight project, aimed at implementing a paperless documentation system in the field of cargo air transport, which facilitates process optimization and cost reduction.
An exit from these projects is planned within the next two years.

In 2020, I began collaborating with the IT holding "Samgau" within the framework of some investment projects in the USA.
"Samgau" is an IT holding created by a group of experienced specialists in the field of information technology. The holding offers a wide range of services, including but not limited to, design, development, software installation, technical support, as well as security and administrative services.
My efforts in this project continue, and I remain involved in its development.

In 2023, I began investment collaboration with the company FatBrain AI and its fully-owned subsidiary - PrimeSource.
Based in Kazakhstan, PrimeSource specializes in software development and management consulting. The company is actively working on innovations in the field of automation, business process optimization, and system integration. It offers advanced solutions for data management and risk management. Through its Research and Development (R&D) department, PrimeSource is involved in implementing cutting-edge projects in the areas of big data, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technologies. The company has extensive experience in the FinTech industry, having worked with many banking structures in several countries.
